Update/upgrade mapping (2021-2) RT6, SMEG, SMEG+IV2 (V118)

Java Generator (if required):

Note: You must install Java before using it: https://www.java.com/fr/download/


Installation:

  • You must bring a USB key 8 gigas minimum, then format it in FAT32
  • Copy all the files present in the map archive to the USB stick.
  • Open the Java Generator.
  • In the first box indicate the VIN code of your vehicle.
  • Then click on the “Browse” button and select the “CCT” file. DAT. INF” which is located in the USB key.
  • There are four major versions of the system, you need to cut the file “CCT. DAT. INF” corresponding to your system
  • To identify your system please refer to this link: https://maps.gpsmyway.com/identification-du-gps-embarquee-des-vehicules-peugeot-et-citroen/
  • You can now press the “Generate” button which will have the effect of generating a key in the “Activation Code” box.
  • Write down this key somewhere, you will be asked for it when installing the mapping.

For the SMEG system you will find it in the SMEG_UPG folder.

  • For the SMEG 6 or SMEG+ 2 system you will find it in the SMEG_IV2_UPG folder.
  • For the SMEG PLUS system you will find it in the SMEG_PLUS_UPG folder.
  • For the RT6 system The file “CTT. DAT.inf” is located at the root of the USB flash drive

Now you just have to insert the USB key, wait for the media detection and click on update maps (enter the activation code you have previously noted) then choose the country to update (20 to 25 minutes per country, engine running; and you can drive).
